Looking at GONG this morning, there were some quite nice prominences, and spot 2612 was developing nicely. The window-sill observatory’s instant availability then came into its own as the murk cleared and i managed these images before the Sun disappeared from view.

Let’s hope that sunspot develops further!
I would like to take a look with calcium-H Quark because supposedly that is when it comes into its own – looking at sunspots.
