1. These photos are amazing. How did you manage to get that detail on the filament? And for that matter on the prominences?

   1. It isn’t anything magic. Lunt + £10 barlow + £50 Mikrokular + a bit of processing. Same set-up as on the Science Day.
      2 X 200 frame AVIs with different exposures with “Sharpcap”, stacked and wavelet sharpened in Registax 6 and merged in GIMP. It will be in the demo in June. Also see S@N mag. “Hotshots” for June.
      Have you tried your Mikrokular with your Quark? (or Quack!). Dead easy. 1 USB lead with no more trailing wires to get tangled in.
