I couldn’t sleep last night, so when I glanced out of the window, despite the weather forecast, there was a clear patch in the sky and there was the constellation “Scorpius”! So here is a quick picture with my Canon “snapshot ” camera. Saturn is also visible, but its altitude shows how difficult it will be this year to get any decent images.
Next target I have never seen from the UK is the Sagittarius “teapot” – – – !
