NGC 4535 – what you can see of you look hard – – –

I was fascinated by this spiral galaxy I imaged a day or two ago. There were fuzzy blobs that I had put down to imaging artefacts. Wrong! (Note to self – NEVER make assumptions!). I found this image on this web-site

I then got out my image, reprocessed and stretched it a bit more and voila!, this is the result. Several companion galaxies!

Look at the magnitudes! In particular PGC 1342675 is stated to be 18.5!  NGC 4535A is apparently mag. 15.2

PS there are quite a few more fuzzy blobs too. I wonder  – – – -?!
