NGC 1832

Sometimes it is a pleasure just to get anything!  A bit like seeing planet Mercury. This is one of those cases.

While waiting for the easy(!) stuff, like the Leo triplet to rise, I was looking for a bit of a deep sky challenge from the window-sill. NGC 1832 is a small magnitude 11.5 galaxy near mu Leporis at the foot of Orion. Here is an image:

As I said, it is a pleasure to get anything!

This one is a stack of 100 exposures at senseup of 256 (5 seconds-ish).
