After a long, tiring wait, I had a nap at 2 am, setting the alarm for 4.30. And there it was! The Super, Blood , Wolf Moon In eclipse and showing a lovely rosy hue! It was just visible over the trees, and I was able to get some photos. The camera and tripod were already to go, which was just as well when the clouds rolled in just after 5 am.
Taken using Olympus EM5 (mirrorless micro 4/3) with 4/3 70- 300 zoom, making it effectively 140- 600 mm zoom on a Manfrotto tripod. I always shoot using JPEG +RAW , whether in Manual, Aperture Priority or iAuto setting. These are mostly AP, allowing me to choose the aperture and thus the corresponding shutter speed. There was a LOT of dew around!
