Further processing of my Witch’s Broom (NGC 6960) image from last night

Some further processing of my image from last night to remove the colour gradient. The image below comes from www.astrometry.net and shows location of the upper image, around the star 52 Cygni. I have also included previous versions of this image (from my processing attempt earlier today).

Which one do you prefer? Is there a meaningful difference or is it in the eye of the beholder? My wife prefers the first (redder) image as it shows more diffuse nebulosity below and right of the Witch’s Broom.

The stacked image from Nebulosity can be downloaded below (ZIP file with various formats) – this is stacked image without post-processing in Nebulosity or GIMP (ZIP file)
