11-day Moon

Clouds cleared tonight leaving a good view of the moon from the window-sill, so here is another image in the series. It was better placed tonight with respect to the glazing, and so the image was better. I couldn’t resist magnifying Messier again, and both craters as well as the “tail”¬†are clearly visible.

Note also the “twin peaks” in Philolaus as well as the rays from Anaxagoras.
